This study has been reviewed by the Ethics Committee of the University of Graz.
The Institute of Psychology at the University of Graz takes data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. This data protection declaration is intended to inform you about data processing in the context of this study in accordance with Art. 12 and 13 GDPR.
Participation in this study is voluntary. You can withdraw from the study at any time without giving reasons and without any disadvantages for you.
In this study, we collect your age, gender, highest level of education, current position in the company and work experience. With regard to your company, we collect the industry, size, establishment and country. In addition, we collect knowledge about circular economy, current company practices and future ambitions, barriers to implementing circular economy practices, disadvantages of existing tools and the need for new tools. Personal data such as name or date of birth are not collected in this study. You have the option to provide your e-mail address at the end of the study if you are interested in receiving updates and further information on our project “ToCoReRaM - Tool for Complete Recovery of Raw Materials”. The e-mail address is recorded and stored in a separate survey, which means that it cannot be linked to the data collected.
The data collected will only be anonymised and aggregated and passed on to third parties in the form of research reports and publications; it is not possible to draw conclusions about specific individuals or companies.
In any case, the anonymised data will be stored in encrypted form on secured data carriers of the University of Graz for the duration of the project and beyond - insofar as they were the basis for a publication - for the purpose of proving good scientific practice for 7 years from publication (legitimate interest/legal obligation from the statutes of the university) or 10 years (legitimate interests pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR). In the interests of “good scientific practice” and scientific quality assurance, this anonymised research data can also be published in suitable online repositories. The data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection guidelines. We confirm that the provisions of the Austrian Data Protection Act are complied with.
You can withdraw your consent to the collection and processing of your data at any time by discontinuing the study. After your revocation, no further data will be collected about you. However, the data collected before you withdraw your consent may continue to be used in the context of this study. In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection/revocation, data portability and complaint to the data protection authority.
